Q: Do you drink when you train?
A: I do not drink if it’s under 10km but in the longer runs I do, I drink to thirst. It’s important not to over hydrate but to rather drink to thirst and sometimes even take sips before you are thirsty.
Q: Do you drink in a 10km race?
A: Of course I do, I drink small sips at every water station. I learnt the hard way many years back when I never used to drink and ended up in hospital dehydrated after a 10km race.
